Look at daily function
Describe when stiffness occurs and whether walking, stairs or getting up from a seat is particularly difficult. A clear picture of your day helps the therapist prioritise useful goals.
Choose an appropriate starting point
Strength and mobility work need to be adapted to your tolerance. More exercise is not automatically better: a plan should explain how to progress and what to do if symptoms change.
Plan for consistency
Short, manageable practice can be easier to maintain than occasional demanding sessions. Discuss pacing and symptom monitoring with your therapist.
